Indira Gandhi Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kaithal offers financial assistance every year to deserving candidates. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Not only reserved category but students with excellent academic records are also provided with financial assistance. Scholarships are offered by centre and state governments to deserving candidates.
Students who get placed on the merit list of the university will also get scholarships. These various kinds of IGMMV scholarships have helped many students in their studies especially students who can not afford education. To benefit from these scholarships, candidates need to meet the criteria specified by the university.

State Harijan Welfare Scheme for backward class students Government of Haryana The students belonging to recognised backward classes of the state having a family income less than Rs. 1,00,000/- per annum are eligible.
National Scheme of Post Matric Scholarship to lower income group notified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic students Government of India This is for general-category students and candidates who have low family income as specified are eligible to apply. National Loan Scholarship Scheme Government of India Eligible students can apply for the loan scheme but they need to get at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
The basic pay of parents should not be more than Rs. 6,000(after deduction relatable items allowed under the Income Tax Laws). Note : Students need to fill out an application form and submit it to the principal office. Also, any change in the scholarship will only be informed by the IGMMV College. Documents for verifying the scholarship should be submitted/attested by the candidates.
