Ideal Campus of Education, Cherpulassery

Ideal Campus Education (ICE) Cherpulassery is one of the leading self financing institutions that was started in the year 2001 and is located inCherpulassery; it owes its working under the University of Calicut, Malappuram. This institute co educations is situated in Kerala and provides its students with 19 type of courses in 10 different degree fields ranging from diploma up to postgraduate level.

At present, the total number of students admitted by ICE Cherpulassery are 200 and the faculty ratio is 17:1 The college offers education in the field of Management & Business Administration, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences and Commerce, Education etc. The college is recognised by the National council for teacher education (NCTE) which maintain the quality standards of the college education.

ICE Cherpulassery has also established infrastructure that affords students added services. There is a modern library on the campus, which holds production and periodicals sufficient for students and instructors needs. It has computer and internet facilities that are modern to improve the student’s computer literacy skills and proficiency.

The college-wide wireless connectivity increases mobility and guarantees students’ continuity of online academic resources access. For achieving the students’ physical health level, the institute offers a gym and a playground for the students. Also, the college provides transport facilities, which allow students and faculties to find their way to college easily.

The institute offers all the necessary educational programmes. It offers 19 courses in total. The full-time programmes of ICE Cherpulassery are B. Ed , BSW, BBA , B. Com ( Cooperation , Computer Application, Travel and Tourism ), BA Economics, English , Sociology) B. Sc Geography, Mathematics , Computer Science, Psychology & Physics, MSW , MA English, M. Com Finance.

It also offers a two years Diploma course in Elementary Education known as D. El. Ed. Of these, the B. Ed programme is most popular which has received approval for an intake of 100 students. ICE Cherpulassery follows government and university norms while admitting students into its programmes based on merit. Therefore for the B.

Ed programme, the admission procedure depends on the marks scored in the qualifying or entrance exam or through any other method as per the rules stated by state government and university. The pattern for the admission procedure is the same as per merit in the D. El. Ed programme too. ICE Cherpulassery is still active creating the educational offerings of Kerala and producing students for different professions.
