Holy Cross Institute of Management and Technology (HCIMT) was established in the year 1995. HCIMT is owned and managed by the International Catholic Women’s Religious Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross. It functions under the Kerala Holy Cross Sisters Society, a registered organisation.

HCIMT Calicut is a ISO certified institute and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Holy Cross Institute of Management and Technology has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with A+ grade.

Holy Cross Institute of Management and Technology offers courses in the fields of Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Animation and Design, Commerce, Management, and Business Administration, Hospitality and Tourism. Sc and BBA courses, while postgraduate programmes include MA , MSW, M. Com , and M. Sc. Admission is primarily based on previous academic performance.
