GSL Medical College and General Hospital, Rajahmundry, is recognized as one of Andhra Pradesh's reputed medical institutions. Established in the year 2002, the college is located in 85 acres, containing an affiliated college approved by the National Medical Commission. 26 MBBS programmes , spread over 5 degree levels, are offered by the institute. , with a diverse student body of 1,087 enrolments.

Admissions to GSL Medical College are based on entrance examinations held at the national level. Selection and admission for the MBBS course will be based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) . Admission for postgraduate programmes like MD and MS will be based on the scores in the NEET-PG examination. Admissions to the super-specialty courses at the level of DM and M.
