Government Medical College, Pali

Government Medical College, Pali (GMC Pali) is one of the newly established institution and it is situated in Pali, Rajasthan officially started in 2017. The Arya medical college is a co-educational medical college which has emerged as a centre of medical learning in this area. Located in a large, well-developed area of 32 acres, GMC Pali provides a convenient educational process for students.

The college is approved and functioning under the supervision of the National Medical Commission (NMC) to follow the proper standard of education. Presently it has a faculty of 138 committed professionals and offers good quality medical education to its students.

Facilities to support its function are superb and state of art infrastructure that aims to complement the learning needs of students in Government Medical College, Pali. Mess Private and public transport The college houses a separate hostel for boys and girls each hosting ninety nine double-seated comfortably furnished rooms containing basic facilities.

An intern hostel with a total capacity of fifty rooms has also been provided separately for deliveries. Dedicated knowledge center has medical books, journals, digital database, fully air conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled central library.

Activities of physically fitness and recreation have been provided through the sports complex having for badminton/ Volley ball Courts, Football/ cricket ground, separate Gymnasium facility for Boys & Girls. A health centre with basic first aid is well equipped to attend to and meet the medical needs of students.

It also has a professional cafeteria that provides hygienically prepared and healthy food under the direction of mess committee of the college faculty. GMC Pali at present has four course with one being under graduation and three being post graduation specialisation.

The established programme is the MBBS which takes 150 students per intake, while the three MD programmes; Pathology, Physiology , and Anatomy take 4 students per intake. All the course are of full time type, while MBBS course is of 6 years, while the MD courses are of 3 years each.

These programmes serve a wide variety of needs in medical education, acting to give students opportunities to focus on what interests them most. The admission procedure at GMC Pali is highly selective and based only on the performance of the students.

The admission to MBBS course effectively took place through the National eligibility cum entrance test for underline graduate or commonly referred as NEET UG competitive examination held across the country. In a similar fashion for the postgraduate MD programmes there is direct admission through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate programmes or NEET PG scores.

These tests put the college in a position to admit only the most qualified student in the society. As for the details of the admission, the student should closely follow the results of NEET examination which is the main and often the only requirement for enrollment.
