Government Girls Post Graduate College, Ujjain (GGPGC) is a recognized college for women which came into existence in 1958 at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. This associated college started in a 7. 08 acre area is committed to impart quality education to female students only.

The college is accredited with National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which shows its regulation of administering good standard education. A total of 2,307 students and 41 members of the faculty, the college provides 27 courses across 6 degree programmes in arts, commerce, science.

For the post graduate students, the college offers masters of arts in Economics, English, History, Political Science, and Sociology; Masters of Science in Home science and Pharmaceutical chemistry. The total student enrolment across all courses is 2307; Undergraduate and postgraduate programmes comprise of 755 and 645 respectively.

GGPGC is committed to both the admission of students as well as a meritocratic system of admission. The college invites applications for different courses every year during May-June, and the academic year starts generally in July-August. GGPGC have its focus on the financial support of its students, many students being on scholarship.

For the academic each year 2022, 755 students undergoing undergraduate studies and 645 postgraduate students were given some form of financial reimbursement with 564 out of the former, and 468 of the latter.
