Government First Grade College, Sedam

This is a first-grade college established and run by the Government of Karnataka which is situated at Vidya Nagar, Sedam, Gulbarga (Karnataka). This co-educational college was established in 1985 and has been in existence preparing young people for nearly four decades. Situated on 6 acres, Government First Grade College is an affiliated college providing NAAC accreditation.

The college has an overall student strength of 2066 students and 20 faculties, with 20 courses offered under 7 degree programmes. Government First Grade College believes in imparting quality education in various streams of arts, commerce and science. The Government of Karnataka has put in place various facilities to improve the learning process of their students in college.

A modern, equipped library is a source of knowledge in any institution, which extends the student’s access to quality academic material. There are two gymnasiums as well as sports fields for all students interested in health and maintaining the proper balance between physical training and study at the college.
