Government First Grade College K. R. Puram was established in the year 1991 is one of the pioneer educational institution in Bangalore, Karnataka. This mixed college located in a 3. 24 acres campus is affiliated college and is NAAC Accredited college. The college takes 2520 students in total, while the faculty counts 50 teachers, The college offers 22 courses in 8 different degree programmes.

The institution offers quality education in different faculties; Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer Applications. Government First Grade College has a wide ranging sport complex, computer lab, library, science lab, computerised laboratory and many more facilities that complements learning in the college.
