Government Engineering College Bikaner GEC Bikaner also known as ECB Bikaner was set up in the year 1999, and it is a statutory autonomous college in Bikaner Rajasthan. Located over 200-acres, this AICTE recognized college has been providing effective education in the stream of engineering and technology.

ECB Bikaner has currently a total number of students, 1,789 and approved teaching staff of 96; the University offers 24 courses in 8 different degree programs at both under graduate and post graduate levels. The college has well equipped and developed infrastructure looking for all round student’s development.

The campus now boasts of fully equipped laboratories which include the advanced Analog Electronics Lab, Communication Systems Lab as well as the Embedded System Lab. A well-equipped library has over one lakh books, journals and digital resources which offers good opportunity for students to do reasearch.

For the physical wellbeing of the students as well as recreational activity ECB Bikaner boasts well maintained Cricket Ground, Volleyball Ground and a well equipped Gym. The college also stocks comfort for students with separate hostels for boys and girls, Internet, Water purifier ‘RO’, indoor games etc. In this aspect, ECB Bikaner academic offers the courses both general and specialized.

The institute offers twenty undergraduate courses in total with a diverse choice of B. Tech courses like Computer Science and Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc. Aims at the college postgraduate levels, there are 6 programs which include specialized M. Tech of Software Engineering and Power Systems .

The total student population for all courses is 1789; most of which are provided for under graduate education. In the previous academic year, the college produced a large number of graduates necessary to produce skilled workers to the profession. ECB Bikaner Admission is mainly offered to admission through Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) test for B. Tech course.

Since it is a college level, this standardized test guarantees that the college admits students with sound background knowledge.
