Government College of Technology Coimbatore, was established in 1945 as Arthur Hope College of Technology and was later renamed in 1951. GCT Coimbatore has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A grade. GCT Coimbatore is recognised by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
