Government College, Jaitwara, was set up in 1989 and is affiliated with the Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa. This college has a complete set of undergraduate programmes in Arts, Business, Education, Science and Technology streams. The college occupies a campus space of 9.

67 acres of land and is primarily involved in the provision of education to 286 students and is designed to promote growth within an ideal academic environment.
