Government College, Dholpur (GCD) is one of the oldest and acknowledged Colleges in the region of Dholpur, Rajasthan. This was established in 1961 as a coeducational college that has been in existence to offer services to students for more than sixty years. Located at the Tiwari Bagh, near the Railway Station, the college has a vast piece of land of 17 acres of area.

GCD is an affiliated college which is NAAC accredited college. In terms of enrollment, it has 9,275 students, and 20 on the faculty The college has 11 courses in 5 degree programs, including one professional. The students are 75% male and 25% female, 85% with undergraduate students, and 15% postgraduate students. Pupils should be able to get a favourable environment for learning from the college they attend.
