Government College, Baran

Government College Baran is a PG Boys college in Rajasthan. The college was established in 1966 and since then it has been an important educational institution in the city. Accredited by NAAC, GC Baran offers a total of 10 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Some of these courses include BA , B. Com, B. Sc Bio Group , MA Geography and M. Sc Mathematics Self-Finance .

The college provided different scholarships to aid meritorious students financially. The college is affiliated with the University of Kota, Kota . According to the NIRF report 2023, the UG placements had a median salary of Rs 1,08,000 while the PG placements were at Rs 1,20,000.
