Government Arts College, Bangalore (GAC) is a college with a very old background but it was established after the 19th century. Co-educational and situated in Bangalore, at Dr. Ambedkar Veedhi, this institution is producing sensible and well-provided generations since the 1800s. The college which spans across a 5. 5-acre campus is an affiliated college under the NAAC recognised under Act 2013.

This college has the provision of admitting a total enrolment of 1,260 students at a time including its valued faculties of 48 members. The college offers a broad course structure cutting across various fields of discipline . The college offers 19 courses through five degree programs, although the major disciplines are arts and commerce streams.
