GKM College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai was established in the year 1996. It is an affiliated College of Anna University, Chennai. This college is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Currently, the college has a highly trained faculty of 187 members and has a student enrolment of 741.

It offers 22 courses in a field of Engineering and Architecture, Media, Mass Communication and Journalism and Management and Business Administration. GKM College of Engineering and Technology provides various facilities for students. It is equipped with modern infrastructure, including a wide 11-acre campus which is spread across the college.
