Ghousia College of Engineering, Ramanagara

Ghousia College of Engineering was established in 1980 and is affiliated college which is located in Ramanagara, Karnataka. GCE occupies 35 Acres land surface and provides variety of engineering courses at the under graduate and post graduate levels. AICTE is the All India Council for Technical Education for the institute and has got specialisation in technical studies.

At present GCE had a total student enrolment of 1194 and faculty strength of 114 which impart conducive atmosphere for learning engineering and preparing the individuals as engineer. The college library is placed in its own building occupying 737. 50 sq.

m of area; college library is well stacked with books and reference material of over 48,572 volume and the college has a membership to several online e-resources through VTU Consortium. To cater for the students’ accommodation needs GCE has been equipped with both the Boys and Girls hostels to afford the student’s smooth accommodation comforts.

There are modern laboratories, first aid centre in the premises of a health centre and a gym for students’ physical fitness. It is good news for sports lovers as the college is well equipped with grounds and courts for cricket, tennis, football, volleyball and basket ball.
