National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI), Vadodara was established in 2018 . In 2022 , it was subsumed into Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, Vadodara by an act of Parliament. Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya is a Central University, pioneering in the domain of Transport and Logistics education in the country. The college provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering and Management streams.
