Ganga Institute of Health and Sciences, commonly known as GIHS which started in the year 2010 is a healthcare educational institute in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college is provided with the recognition from the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and offers assorted courses in healthcare. Tucked in a relatively large parcel of land of 13 acres, GIHS offers a favourable learning environment to the students.

The institute employs 40 dedicated faculty members for 7 courses that cover two degree levels. GIHS is focused on high-quality healthcare training with a concentration on nursing, radiography, physician assistance and other allied health sciences. They include classrooms, computer and language laboratories, science laboratories, slide-making laboratories, studios, a media centre and many others.

A well-stocked library is available with more than 3000 books, references, journals, and periodicals to support e-journals for students’ optimum academic needs. Boutique modern facilities enable students to receive practical training in every department of the laboratory to prepare them for their future jobs.

GIHS also has well-equipped hostels for boys and girls with modern facilities situated in a calm and serene environment within the campus. The institute has provisions for sports and a gymnasium for students’ physical development, and courses & seminars are also conducted in the auditorium.

Currently, GIHS provides only a full-time study programme with 7 courses with a prime focus on healthcare and allied Sciences at the undergraduate levels.
