EMG Yadava Women’s College is an autonomous college started in 1974, is situated at Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The college is a women’s college with a campus that sits on 15acres and is established to empower women. NAAC accredited and approved by AICTE, it has a total of 37 programmes spread across twelve degrees.
It is a known fact, with 3,763 students in total and 141 total faculty members, the college provides a fairly good student/teacher ratio. It is an all girls establishment with 91% of the students carrying out undergraduate studies and 9% post graduate studies. EMG Yadava Women’s College also avails a number of amenities to improve on the learning process as well as the personal development of the learners.
The book-stock includes over 43000 books, 120 journal and magazines besides audio-video CD’s and Internet. The campus also has a Digital Language Lab where students are provided with 80 sets of head phones to improve their English Speaking Skills. To add, other important infrastructures for different games such as basketball, volleyball, hockey, tennis, etc are also available.
The college also has facilities of cafeteria, Wi-Fi, and well equipped IT facilities in line with its modern world standard. For the outstation students, there is a hostels with a capacity to hold 1,500 residents and makes sure that they are safe and comfortable.
