ELIMS College of Pharmacy, Thrissur

ELIMS College of Pharmacy is a relatively young institution located in the Thrissur City of Kerala was established in 2016. Situated at Ramavarmapuram P. O, Villadam, Thrissur, Kerala, this college for both men and women is affiliated with the University of Calicut and PCI-approved.

ELIMS College of Pharmacy is seated on a bar strip of an area of 1 acres, a feature that provides for concentrated learning to those willing to be pharmacists. At present, the college is proud of possessing a faculty team of 22 committed professionals to facilitate a student in his or her academic endeavours.

The college has several facilities intended to improve student’s learning environment and the student's personal development. Pharmaceutical studies require important and relevant information and knowledge that is housed here in the library. Various, well-equipped laboratories inculcate practical sessions due to the importance of practical knowledge in the field of pharmacy.

The college’s IT requirements enable students to keep track of the advancement in the current technology. To facilitate the overall growth of the students, ELIMS College of Pharmacy has a sports complex and an auditorium for other activities/programmes. Presently, ELIMS College of Pharmacy has only a single main course, which they conduct – Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma).

It is a four-year course that is offered full-time, and the college is allowed to admit 60 students only which shows the college's willingness to provide quality education due to a good student-instructor ratio. The programme in B. Pharma has been designed to offer the necessary experience to the students to embark on the roles related to pharmaceutical sciences in health care and Pharmaceutical companies.

In terms of selection, it is important for every college to have a good admission policy that guarantees proper and deserving students admission and that the ELIMS College of Pharmacy neither deviate from these norms.
