Delhi Institute of Tool Engineering (DITE) was set up in 2008 and is identified as an affiliated college in Wazirpur Industrial Area of New Delhi. This institute has been able to establish itself as an institute of engineering that delivers a wide range of programmes.

DITE is a large institution occupying an area of 5 acres; adequate space is thus available for teaching, learning and other related activities from this learning institution.

At present, the institute has a total headcount of 447 students and the faculty ratio of 46 teachers The institute provides quality education and equal opportunity to students to have frequent interaction and one to one teaching and learning pedagogy. DITE is fully equipped with many facilities that from one perspective to improve the student experience and on the other offers support for learning activities.

Two separate libraries are available in faculties and total book collections around 10000 are available in two institutes containing all engineering disciplines. The library at Campus-II have subsidiary categories such as Book Bank Section, General Section, Reference Section, Periodical Section, and CD’s Section.

Students & faculty have privilege to receive the National and International journals also membership to DELNET with total connections 1152 E- Journals. The library also has facilities and equipments such as xeroxing services, online database, and internet facility. DITE offers a great number of programmes and credit courses that can suit the different interests of the students within the sphere of engineering.

4 full time course are offered by the institute within undergraduate level. B. Tech programmes under DITE brand are offered at the undergraduate level and includes Tool Engineering , Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering .
