GMC Ratlam or Government Medical College, Ratlam is one of the well-known medical universities with the history of foundation since 2018. Based in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, this college for boys and girls is committed to serving quality medical education. GMC Ratlam college is acknowledged to be affiliated from NMC, this means that college follow high standard of education.

The college has developed various facilities that the college programmes to improve on the learning experiences and welfare of the college students. The students of both genders should be able to find hostel accommodations since there are those that are particular for each gender, these hostels are comfortable enough to create a studying environment.

The college library helps students as a central information centre where a wide range of medical literature is available. As far as practical infrastructural facilities are concerned, GMC Ratlam has spacious departments-wise laboratories and students can practice in different branches of medicine. There is also a health of the campus where a basic facility of first aid is provided for medical emergencies of students.

Incidental with modern requirements of education it has developed and installed good IT facility for enhanced application and research work in the college. At present, GMC Ratlam has offered only 14 medical courses which are complete full time courses . The desegregated programme structure reveals the flagship MBBS course that takes six years, and the yearly intake capacity for fresh students was 180.

For those who want to proceed to post graduate level, the college offers MD in Community Medicine, a degree that takes 3 years to complete and for which 3 students may be taken in a given year. These programmes are intended to offer a broad scope of medical education including concepts together with technical competence.

Admissions at Government Medical College, Ratlam are very competitive having regard to the relevant qualifications and examinations. MBBS programme is having common admission test from NEET – UG for all the medical courses which is conducted all over the country.
