Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Arts and Science for Women, briefly known as DSCAS and was founded in 1996, is an affiliated and self-financed women’s college in Perambalur, Tamil Nadu.

The campus holds a library formed of more than 4,268 reference books, air-conditioned reading facilities, and the e-journals. For accommodation, the DSCAS currently provides a hostel for girl students. The college is committed to health care by having a medical centre for first aid services to its members. Amenities have been provided for students to make necessary exercise and body build up.
The campus has state of the art of technological requirements and connectivity, establishing a technologically advanced learning environment. A canteen is provided for the students in order to meet their needs of foods while an auditorium is provided for to cater for event needs. The college also arrange transport facilities for different parts of the nearby areas for the student who travel by their own vehicles.
For the purpose of this study DSCAS has provided a broad menu of academic programmes. It offers fourteen undergraduate courses and these are BA English , BBA, BCA, B. Sc Biochemistry , Biotechnology, Computer Science etc. At the postgraduate level, the college offers thirteen programmes of MBA, MCA and several M. Sc. In addition, DSCAS offers M. Phil programmes in six fields and Ph. D.
programmes in Commerce , Tamil, and Microbiology. The college also provides two programme PG Diploma courses. Flexible and merit-based is the process of admission in the DSCAS for all students.
