The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of JIS University, Kolkata, started in the year 2016 and has been striving to bring out differences in the field of pharmaceutical education and research. The institution is located on 81 Nilgunj Road, Agarpara, Kolkata, providing various programmes in pharmaceutical sciences. The said department is approved by the PCI and AICTE to ensure quality education in the field.

The faculty in the department has a strength of 21. The following are some of the facilities within the department to enhance the learning process of the students. The campus houses separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, adding another comfort level for a safe and conducive living space for community building and making the transition from home life into college life easier.
