Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University, is also known as PUMBA Pune, which was founded in the year 1971. PUMBA Pune is the official department for the MBA course at the University of Pune. PUMBA Pune offers courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in the field of business administration and management.

PUMBA Pune courses include BBA in Hospitality Management, MBA , MBA Pharma-Biotechnology, Executive MBA , and PhD in Management programmes. Each programme is designed to build leadership and management skills in the students. Admission to these programmes is based on the entrance test, like MHT-CET /CMAT/ CAT /ATMA/ XAT , and their performance in the qualifying examinations.
