College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Udaipur, popularly known as CVAS, is a veterinary college. This is one of the constituent colleges founded in 2007, which is Located at Navania, Vallabhnagar, Udaipur, Rajasthan. CVAS Udaipur is recognised by Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) and is spread across 553. 516-acre campus, providing excellent education in Animal sciences.

It delivers 21 courses spread across 4 degree levels to 517 students, with a faculty of 31 members on-board currently. CVAS Udaipur is a co-educational institution and this means that students of any sex are given equal chancess of learning and being educated. CVAS Udaipur has access to a wide range of facilities meant to improve the student learning environment and achievement.

Residential facilities both for boys and girls are available in college with proper hostels, accommodation, and different sports, including football, hockey, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and kabaddi. An equipped and organised library prove useful to the students and the faculty of the respective institution.

CVAS Udaipur provides departmental laboratories to enable students gain practical experience as regards various fields in veterinary science. The courses taught at CVAS Udaipur include all-rounded academic programmes in veterinary and animal sciences. The institution offer twenty-one courses in full-time prohibition in the levels of undergraduates, postgraduates and doctorates. The fundamental programme for veterinary education is the B. V. Sc. Animal Husbandry Programme, which is the flagship programme of the university.

Sc. programmes in various specialised fields like Animal Reproduction , Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Veterinary Anatomy , Physiology, Pharmacology , Parasitology, Microbiology , Pathology, etc. CVAS Udaipur preparing students for higher research contributions: CVAS Udaipur has its Ph. D. programmes that include Animal Genetics and Breeding.

For students who prefer certificate and diploma courses, the college has a Diploma in Animal Husbandry . The admission processes in CVAS Udaipur have been established in a way that they identify and recruit that best talent in veterinary and animal sciences. In the B. V. Sc. programme, often one has to pass the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
