College of Physiotherapy, SRMIST was founded in 1993. The College of Physiotherapy is a private institute of SRM Institute of Science and Technology , Kattankulathur. Students can take admission by giving an entrance examination (SRMJEEH UG/PG) which will be conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology for the respective courses. College of Physiotherapy offers courses such as Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) at the UG level. At PG level, courses like MPT Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Sports Physiotherapy, Biomechanics and many more are offered at the PG level.

Every year, SRM Institute of Science and Technology conducts (SRMJEEE) entrance test for both UG and PG courses. Candidates have to fill up the application form providing the necessary details.

Eligible candidates have to appear for the SRMJEEE entrance test conducted by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Candidates will be shortlisted based on marks secured in SRMJEEE test.

The College of Physiotherapy, SRMIST scholarships are provided to meritorious students and needy students. Scholarships are also provided to the students who belong from the minority community and students who are physically disabled. In order to avail SRM Institute of Science and Technology, College of Physiotherapy scholarships, students have to meet the scholarship eligibility criteria.

Students having exceptional skills in fine arts, literary debates will be eligible for the scholarships. There is a scholarship for the students who are physically disabled. The scholarship amount awarded varies from 25% - 100% of the tuition fee of their respective course.
