The College of Nursing, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical and Health Sciences, Dehradun, is one of the very prestigious institutions in the field of nursing education. It was set up in the year 2006 and is located in Patel Nagar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. SGRRIMHS is affiliated with the Indian Nursing Council, and it has offered many nursing courses at different levels of specialisation.
The sprawling campus is 36 acres in area and accommodates a total student enrolment of 932 with a faculty strength of 181. It also believes in providing state-of-the-art facilities to its students. Its well-furnished laboratories on the campus include the Fundamental Lab, OBG + Child Health Lab, Community Health Nursing Lab, Critical Care Nursing Lab, Nutrition Lab, and Audio-visual AIDS Lab.

A treasure of knowledge in the form of a library is housed with recent edition books from India and abroad and Indian and foreign journals related to specialised nursing fields. Students have the added facility of online free-of-cost journals to increase their research skills.
The SGRRIMHS campus offers sports facilities to all students as a means of keeping themselves physically fit and thereby able to take up academic activities with full zest. SGRRIMHS offers the widest range of nursing programmes, which includes courses from general to specialisation ones at all sets of education.
The institute provides 9 full-time courses , inclusive of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programmes. The institution imparts formal learning in B. Sc Nursing, Post Basic B. Sc Nursing, M. Sc in Medical Surgical Nursing , Obstetrics and Gynaecology , Psychiatric Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, and Community Health Nursing, with GNM and ANM diploma courses.
