College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat

The College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat, is started in the year 1998, located a Purba Medinipur of West Bengal. This affiliated college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, and sprawls over a massive area of 27 acres and presently has about 968 students enrolled in its various programmes in engineering.

It has a well-built faculty of 51 members, providing an optimum student-to-teacher ratio. CEMK feels proud about providing state-of-the-art facilities to its students for enhancing their learning experience. Well-equipped laboratories in each department enable students to gain practical experience, which is an important ingredient of engineering education.

The air-conditioned library is a repository of knowledge with more than 32,618 volumes, 4,905 titles, and subscriptions to many Indian and foreign journals. The infrastructure for IT is also very good with state-of-the-art computer labs and high-speed internet connectivity.

CEMK ensures overall development of the students through excellent sports facilities such as cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball courts; indoor game rooms; and a gymnasium. CEMK has a total of 8 courses, of which 7 are B. Tech Programs and the remaining one is an M. Tech program. All the B. Tech courses are regular programs for four years, and M. Tech in Mechatronics is the special PG course offered.

Tech Mechatronics 6 Rs 99200 Admission at CEMK is based on merit, and its process is structured. Prospective students will have to qualify either in WBJEE or in JEE (Main). After being qualified, an online counselling process under WBJEE Board allots them a seat.
