The College of Agriculture, Shimoga, which commenced in 1990, is one of the constituent colleges situated in Shimoga of Karnataka state. Located on a vast piece of land of 195 acres, this institution focuses on the development of agriculture diploma. Overall, this college delivering 12 different courses of different degree levels focused on specialization in agriculture field.

Sc programmes offered at the college at the postgraduate level are: Agronomy, Agricultural Entomology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology and Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry; each provides an intake of six students. Both the programmes have the same focus areas of specialisation and have 2 students intake for each.
