Co-operative Arts and Science College, Madayi started its functioning at Kannur, Kerala in the year 1982 as an affiliated college. Offering a number of academic programs, this institution is located on the 25-acre campus and is home to the 608 students. It also boasts of it been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) this shows that the college is a quality College.
Currently the college has a faculty strength of 23 members and thus offers its students good facilities for learning. Business and commerce is conducted through 8 courses in 6 degrees over the spectrum of Arts and Science, History Commerce Mathematics English and Malayalam apart from Arts and Science degree special programs.
Co-operative Arts and Science College has numerous amenities that assist in achieving the goal of improving the learning of its learners. There are 7 computers with internet connection for students’ use as well as a library that stocks 15, 000 books and other learning materials such as journals and periodicals for students’ use.
Students are able to get to learn different subjects knowledge with variety of interesting subjects and having subscribed both Malayalam as well as English newspapers. It also provides new age facilities including an auditorium for events and seminars, a cheaper meal providing canteen and outstanding IT facilities.
For those interested in being fit, there is a gym and other sports amenities for the clients, and guests. Co-operative Arts and Science College provides totally eight courses and all of them are full time. These comprise the bachelor’s degree, the master’s degree and doctoral degrees which cut across all the arts, science and commerce programmes.
The college provides 5 undergraduate programs: It has 7 under graduate courses, namely BA History , BA English, BA Malayalam , BBA, B. Sc Mathematics with 3 post graduate courses, namely MA History, M. Com Finance, B. Com Cooperation.
