Choithram College of Nursing, a nursing college was founded in the year 1996, located in Indore, M. P. , is one of the most sought after nursing college. This affiliated college is located in a 5 acre-area and has been preparing the future generation in nursing for more than two decades.

It follows higher education guidelines by being recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council(INC). The college delivers 7 courses across three degree levels totalling a student enrolment of 298. CCON currently consists of 33 dedicated members of the faculty resulting in low student/faculty ratio enhancing student-caregiver ratio.

Choithram College of Nursing has effectively installed number of functional facilities which will facilitate the student of the college in a better way. A fully stocked library was established to accommodate a collection of more than 3000 books and currently subscribes 30 Indian and International journals most of which are peer reviewed and focuses on the area of nursing and its related disciplines.

The campus is Wireless Fidelity enabled hence the students have wireless internet access for the whole 24 hours for their academic purposes. Multimedia computer laboratory also adds to technological tools at the disposal of students which include a modern computerised laboratory.

It also focuses on student welfare through the provision of some facilities like; a girls’ hostels, sporting facilities, canteen and transport. The college offer one undergraduate degree and five postgraduate specialities in nursing as well as doctoral degree programme. The main programme, the B. Sc Nursing admits 75 students per year, while each of the M. Sc specialities , namely, the Obstetric and Gynaecology Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Medical Surgical Nursing takes 5 students yearly.

These full time programmes are intended to prepare students for the knowledge and skills needed in practice environment to offer quality nursing care.
