Chatia College, Biswanath, was started in the year 1982 in Sootea in Assam and is a co-educational college. This affiliated college informs a wide list of undergraduate programmes over mainly arts and humanities. The college currently has 819 students enrolled overall, but the distribution of the sexes is nearly equal, with 52% female and 48% male students.
