Central University of Karnataka Gulbarga is a government university established through Central Universities Act in the year 2009 and fully recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The institute offers various courses at UG, PG and Ph. D levels. The courses offered at CUK Karnataka are BA , BBA, B. Ed, B. Tech , LLM, MA, M. Tech, Ph. D and many more.
Candidates who have passed class 12th from a recognised board with valid CUET and JEE Mains scores will be eligible for UG admissions, whereas for PG admissions students must have a score in the CUET-PG examination. CUK Karnataka also offers PhD courses to the students, for admissions in PhD courses candidates must have valid scores in UGC NET /CSIR UGC NET.
CUK Karnataka has a placement cell to handle all the placement-related activities. As per the NIRF Report 2026, the median salary offered to the UG 3-year programmes was Rs 3,50,000 and that of the UG 4-year programme was Rs 5 lakhs.
