Bishop Vayalil Medical Centre School of Nursing, Idukki

Bishop Vayalil Medical Centre School of Nursing is a standalone institute situated in Idukki, Kerala, India, and it was started in 1994. Being an Indian co-educational College approved by INC, it provides specialised nursing education on its area of 8 acres.

Presently the school admits a total of 76 students every year, and faculty members of 13 teachers offer a personalised approach possible in small-number schools for the students who want to become nurses. The institute offers two courses: They have a four-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course and a one-year Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing to address various sections of the nursing career.

The Bishop Vayalil Medical Centre School of Nursing has various amenities aimed at improving students’ stay in the school and also their learning process. Among these are the provision of different hostels for boys and girls to accommodate students from different parts of the country. The campus is similarly provided with the library to support students by providing nursing-related literature.
