Bhaskar Medical College and General Hospital (BMC Hyderabad) was established in 2005; the college situated in Moinabad, Telangana is regarded as one of the best-medical colleges in Telangana. This coed affiliated college is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) that delivers quality medical education.

Currently, BMC Hyderabad has a student strength of 836 and faculty of 183 members The institution offers 16 courses and 3 degrees spread over medical field. The college is equipped with various medical specialities which include General Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics /Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Radiology amongst others.

Bhaskar Medical College and General Hospital campus has all the modern amenities required both for learning as well as for personal development. Currently, the college has long-standing halls of residence well-equipped to house male and female students from different parts of the country. There is a health centre with first aid facilities located on campus, students’ health is important.

Medical literature and the research materials are available in the college library. For students’ comprehensive development, sports facilities are provided at BMC Hyderabad so that students provide equal importance to their health also. It has also got good IT facilities, practical labs and an academic cum cultural auditorium in the college.

A cafeteria and transport facilities are also available to supplement the comfort of learners when in campus. The courses offered by Bhaskar Medical College and General Hospital include, Medical and allied undergraduate, postgraduate programmes. The flagship MBBS programme takes 150 students while other postgraduate programme including the MD and MS programmes take more specific numbers.

All are full time with the training focusing on medical issues. In all, the college provides 16 courses for students: Anatomy , Physiology, Pharmacology, General Medicine , Pulmonary Medicine, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynecology including Radiology & Imaging, Orthopaedics, Anaesthesiology.
