Bharathiyar Institute of Engineering for Women, Salem

This is an affiliated college located in Salem Tamil Nadu India which came into existence in 2008 by the name Bharathiyar Institute of Engineering for Women. Located in a vast area of 11. 436 acres, this college only for women is recognized by AICTE – All India Council for Technical Education. Currently and in total, the institute is tendering 6 courses for two degree programs with emphasis on engineering fields.

With a total enrollment of 790 students, including 751 undergraduates and 39 postgraduates, the institute maintains a student-faculty ratio of approximately 10:1 served by 78 members of the faculties. As regards, the variety of offered techniques, it is possible to conclude that the institute aims at technical education and offers the following specializations: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics.

The undergraduate courses take four years to complete, while the postgraduate courses take two years to complete offering depth knowledge in different fields, together with skills in handling different difficulties.
