Behala Government Polytechnic, Kolkata was established in the year 2019. It is more or less a new institution in the scenario of West Bengal. Located at 756, Upendra Nath Banerjee Road, Parnasree, Behala, it is a state government-aided institution with the aim to provide quality technical education.

This affiliated college, approved by AICTE, offers several types of diploma courses necessary to cater to the ever-changing industry demands. This institute offers a focused learning environment with its current student enrolment of 600 and a faculty strength of 11. The polytechnic offers five specialised diploma courses, each three years in length, in various fields of engineering and technology.
