BDSL Mahila College, Ghatsila, was set up in 1982, and is a constituent college for women in the state of Jharkhand, East Singhbhum. This affiliated college is located in a small area of 2. 23 acres and aims to deliver better education to the female students. It has a consolidated enrolment of 1,103 students and a faculty of 11 members, The college promotes individual attention to the students.

BDSL Mahila College offers 11 courses in one four degree programmes, mostly in arts and commerce streams. This is evident by the institution offering many specialisations in its programme such as; Political Science, History, Santali, Hindi, English, Economics, Psychology and the like.
