Bapatla College of Pharmacy was founded in the year 1995 as a constituent part of the Bapatla Education Society, Bapatla, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. This is a co-educational affiliated college permitted by the Pharmacy Council of India. The college has been guiding many students towards their career in the field of pharmacy over the past two decades.

BCOP sprawls over a campus of 55 acres, providing an idyllic environment that fosters learning and growth. The present student enrolment of the college is 410, fully supported by a faculty of 25 keen professionals. BCOP offers 4 specialised courses in 2 degree programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the Pharmaceutical field.

The college has multifaceted facilities to enhance the academic and personal growth of students. The well-stocked library offers a knowledge centre having access to all relevant pharmaceutical literature and materials of research. Well-equipped, state-of-the-art laboratories provide practical exposure, which is an essential part of pharmacy education in developing practical skills.

For the overall well-being of the students, there is a health centre with first-aid facilities at the college. BCOP has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls looking for accommodation. The campus boasts an active academic community with an auditorium for events and seminars.

Further, the college continues to host an IT infrastructure in order to carry on with the continuous evolution of technology happening in the field. BCOP offers various programs in the field of pharmacy at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Programs offered by this college include one full-time undergraduate ( B. Pharma ) and three full-time postgraduate programs (M.

Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology). The total approved intake for all courses is 145 seats, where 100 seats are given to the B. Pharma course and 15 to each of the three M. Pharma specialisations. All courses are full-time in mode, which makes the education intensive and focused in the fields opted for by students.

Bapatla College of Pharmacy is admitted those students who are capable and motivated to join the Programs prescribed in pharmacy. For B. Pharma, admission is principally based on the performance of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test AP EAMCET .
