Baldeo College of Education, Fatehpur, was started in 2020 as a new institution in the chain of educational institutes in Bihar. This institution is co-educational and is located in Patna for the purpose of shaping future teachers. This is an affiliated college and hence works under the umbrella of some other university that has prescribed certain educational norms that this college follows.

This quality teacher education commitment has already been given approval by the National Council of Teacher Education, New Delhi. Presently, Baldeo College of Education runs two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. ) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed. ), to serve aspiring teachers at two different levels of the system.

Other selection processes can be initiated at the discretion of the authorities. The admission to D. El. Ed. course shall be made on the basis of merit, with marks in the qualifying examination and entrance test results.
