Avadh Law College, Barabanki

Avadh Law College, Barabanki, or ALB, had its founding in the year 2007 on the main Faizabad-Lucknow Road at Asani, Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. This college brings out legal patrons through the decade of existence it has under its belt. The college, affiliated with the Bar Council of India, is a compact campus sitting on 0. 62 acres of greenery.

The implementation of quality legal education in ALC is revealed through the approval of Bar Council of India and favourable student-teacher ratio. Total enrolment of 910 students and with faculty strength of 20, available for the personalised attention of every budding lawyer. The college has a host of facilities that will assure added value to the studying process of its students.

The library is well-stocked with a huge legal treasure in the form of a large number of books, national and international periodicals, and project reports. A fully furnished moot court on campus gives practical courtroom experience to the students and helps in reducing the gap between theory and practice. For outstation students, ALC also provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls at affordable rates.

It also promotes the physical well-being of its students through provisions for sports and games such as badminton, table tennis, and basketball. Avadh Law College has two full-time courses that are on-campus and comprehensive law programmes: the 3-year LLB course and the integrated BA LLB, which runs for a period of five years.

Both the programmes are designed in such a way to provide strong fundamentals for the legal studies. Such is the case with the LLB programme, which has a capacity of 300 seats, versus the BA LLB programme , which offers 60 seats.
