Assam Engineering College, Guwahati

Assam Engineering College was established in the year 1955 and was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The institute is also known as AEC and is considered as a premier institute in North East. Assam Engineering College is affiliated to Gauhati University and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi.

AEC offers Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and Industrial & Production Engineering. AEC also offers MCA and M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
