Arya College, Ludhiana

Arya College, Ludhiana, brought into existence in 1946, is a well-recognised co-educational institution of Punjab. Located in the Civil Line of Ludhiana over an area of ten acres, this college has been a symbol of education and knowledge for more than seven decades now. Recognised by NAAC, Arya College is an affiliated college that provides numerous undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses.

Thus, the chosen institution takes 6,225 students with 75 members of the faculty, which is great for students’ successful learning and personal development. The college has a fine set of modern equipment to complement its academic programmes aimed at improving the overall learning environment.

The library section of SMU is fully air-conditioned and provides a store of over 70800 volumes of books, journals and periodicals in different fields of learning. It also engages a large reading room and computer section to create a research and self-study culture.

Arya College ensures that learners who develop an interest in athletics get the best sports achievements by having modern sporting facilities at our school. A total of 16 laboratories on the campus are available for the students’ practical needs, depending on the chosen field of study. The Bharti Auditorium sits an instructional population of 600 students and is used for cultural as well as academic purposes.

Some others are a basketball court, a kitchen, an internet connection, and an infirmary with an emergency treatment room. We are proud to present 21 courses in 13 streams, ranging from undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and professional courses to fulfil the educational requirements of students along with their expectations towards the career line.

The institution offers a combination of full-time undergraduate as well as postgraduate programmes and diploma courses. The course here incorporates various fields of discipline, such as arts, science , commerce, computer applications and management. The college offers admission to a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and some of the main courses are as follows: - BA, B.

Sc (Medical and Non-Medical), B. Com, BBA, BCA, and several MA programmes. In the postgraduate diploma, the institution delivers PGDCA and, in the postgraduate diploma in marketing, PGD in Marketing Management.
