Arjun Singh Shiksha Mahavidyalaya, Morena

Arjun Singh Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is one of the Morena, Madhya Pradesh based teacher education institution. Being an affiliated college it was founded in 2008 and is molding future educators for more than 10 years. The courses are offered in conformation with the legislation recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Situated in Chockvan Pura, Post Thara, Ambah, the college offers two full-time courses: The University will commence Two-Year B. ED with an intake of 50 students per year and One-Year D. EL. ED with an intake of 50 students per year. The Arjun Singh Shiksha Mahavidyalaya has a number of features that would improve the learning ability of the students in the college.

The campus comprises of ultramodern facilities such as sports complex, an adequate hall for events, seminars among others, departmental practical sessions basements among others. Ed programme is a two years full time course prepare student to teach in secondary school. The other course recognised is Diploma in Elementary Education which is also a two-year full time programme prepares students in primary teaching. Each of these courses must admit only 50 students, which sums up to 100 seats for the two courses.

Admission of students are based on some policies set from the college, state government of Madhya Pradesh and the affiliated university. For the B. Ed programme, the admission requirements are a bachelor’s degree in any field with the percentage prescribed by the regulatory authorities. In the D. El.

Ed programme, it is usually expected that the candidates had completed their higher secondary education/10+2 with the minimum qualifying marks.
