Annammal College of Nursing, Kanyakumari, was founded in 2007 and it have emerged as one of the leading college which offers education in the field of nursing in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is an affiliated college situated at Kuzhithurai and is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) therefore it follows high standard of education.

The college occupies a vast treasure of 64 acre of ground facility which improves the ideal learning atmosphere to grow. The college provides education to a total of 256 students, while the faculty members of the college consist of 17 members that promote excellent student teacher ratio.

Annammal College of Nursing provides 8 courses at three levels of degree programmes with different specialties in nursing and accepts undergraduate and postgraduate students. The students learning needs are valued within the college, and it is keen on making sure that the students are offered the best teaching equipment and learning facilities.

Annammal College of Nursing comprises of practical laboratory that have designed student ergonomic workbenches, model samples and beds, equipment, dummies and simulators to improve practical exercises. The courses offered at the institute consist of 8 full time course that are at undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma.

At the undergraduate level there is B. Sc Nursing having 50 seats of duration four years and at post basic level there is B. Sc Nursing having 40 seat in two years. To aid for those who would wish to pursue a diploma, the college provides 40 seat Intensive General Nursing and Midwifery ( GNM ) course taking 4 years. The postgraduate offerings are equally impressive, with five M.

Sc Nursing programme generally needs a GNM diploma or any equivalent qualification. For M. Sc Nursing programmes, only candidates with B. Sc Nursing qualification can apply.
