Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women of Chennai was founded in 2000 and has been offering quality education to women in the centre of Tamil Nadu capital. This affiliated college, approved by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), mission is to nurture young women through quality education. 12 acres in Saidapet, the college has expanded to admit students, rising to 2044 enrolments, of which only are female. The college have a strength of 62 faculty members, who ar teaching 17 course across 8 degree programs in specialisation areas such as Commerce , Computer Science, Biochemistry & English, etc.

Annai Veilankanni’s College for Women has provided degree programmes in various fields so as to meet the needs and expectations of the students in the present world. The institution offers fifteen courses, five of which are postgraduate, while the other five are undergraduate programmes.
In this level of education, the most selected courses include business commerce, accounting and finance, computer science, business administration, and computer application, among others. Doctorate Registered Master of Science in Computer Science , Commerce, Biochemistry and Master of Human Resource Management are postgraduate courses offered at the college.
