Aminpur College of Education, Dakshin Dinajpur

Aminpur College of Education is located in Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal. This is a dedicated institution for teacher education, newly established in the year of 2013. For a decade, it has been shaping co-ed learners into future educators.

Approved by NCTE, the National Council for Teacher Education, Government of India, the college is an affiliated body with specialisation in various kinds of programmes relating to education. Spread over this compact campus of 0. 789 acres, Aminpur College of Education supports 179 students on a faculty strength of 22.

The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and is affiliated with Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (BSAEU), which governs teacher education in West Bengal. Aminpur College of Education boasts a variety of amenities offered to its students to make the process of learning enriching.

The library is a knowledge home where adequate information is found, much needed by prospective teachers. Laboratories of all specialised subjects provide an actual interface, enabling to practice and polishing of the methodology of teaching. The college provides sports facilities to the learners for physical fitness and to inculcate team spirit in the upcoming teachers.

Aminpur College of Education runs a compact curriculum with two major courses, namely Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed). Both are regular programmes, each lasting two years.
