AGM Rural College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli (AGMRCET) is a leading engineering college was started in the year of 2010. Located in Varur, Hubli, Karnataka, this affiliated college is spread over a considerable of area of 23. 21 acre. AGMRCET is a technical institution which was recognised from All Indian Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to conduct quality engineering education.

The college has a total of 755 students and sixty faculty members and it provides the study of engineering courses. AGMRCET offers 7 programmes in this single degree and unveils different engineering disciplines to meet the burgeoning demands of the industry. The AGM Rural College of Engineering and Technology has invested in a number of infrastructural facilities that complements the learning process of learners.

The campus has nicely furnished boys’ and girls’ hostels; hence the residents are expected to be comfortable. Students may also exercise their physical fitness since the school has privileges to equip a modern Gym facility. Library is the quintessential institutional academia, a scholarly resource base and an environment conductive to learning.

There is enough ground and air to sports enthusiasts to practice different athletic activities in the college sports complex. AGMRCET also provides importance to technological development with its good infrastructure in IT. The cafeteria for students is designed to allow the students to have a place to take a break and interact with other students meanwhile the auditorium is used for events, seminars etc.

Engineering education is provided with the excellence of various programmes at AGMRCET to fulfil various dreams of the students. Out of these courses, the college offers 7 full-time BE courses with specialisations in computer science and engineering , electronics and communication engineering, Civil engineering , Mechanical engineering etc which include all types of courses that are regular.

Due to lack of recent graduation data, it is hard to establish the number of graduating students, but the quality of education is evident in its course, and physical facilities. The admission process of AGM Rural College of Engineering and Technology is highly standard. The college mainly takes admissions after the KCET or Karnataka Common Entrance Test for engineering students.
