Advanced Plastics Product Simulation and Evaluation Centre is a specialised institution of plastics and polymer technology, having its centre in Tamot, Madhya Pradesh with latest equipment to simulate and evaluate advanced plastics products. This institute was set up in 1968 and it has over the years remained a leader of technical learning for the plastics field.

APPSEC is a college approved by AICTE meaning that it has passed all the educational requirements in India. Located in a confined land area of 5 acres the institute provides optimised environment to the students to make career in plastics and engineering industry where competition is increasing with the pace of advancement.

New facilities which are available in Advanced Plastics Product Simulation and Evaluation Centre make the school more suitable for students. A well stocked library which is a major reference point for students and researchers in polymer science and technology is endowed with over fifty thousand books and journals.

There is a modern auditorium on the campus that has a seating capacity of two hundred and fifty students that contains status of the art audio-visual equipment to facilitate lectures, workshop, seminars, and conferences. The institute also attaches immense importance to the IT facilities, so the student has the best technologies in his/her training. APPSEC has five different diploma courses , all of which are day programmes that provide students with an all-round technical education.

The institute provides education in the major disciplines of engineering and technology with diploma courses in Mechanical , Plastic, Chemical and Packaging technology with special reference to plastics and packaging. Specifically, the authorised intake per course is 60 students and thus the proposed annual full intakes per programme are as follows.
